Remote design service
Welcome to our remote design service page! So, how does it work?
Why use this service?
Our remote design service has been created, to ensure that when life returns to normal, we’re ready to jump straight onto your new kitchen, bedroom or study installation. Go on, admit it! You’ve been staring at your kitchen thinking it needs an update!
On completion of the online form, further down this page, we’ll hook you up with one of our design team who will work with you to create your dream interior. We will liaise by phone and email to progress your ideas through to full CAD designs.
We can show you lots of examples of different interiors design styles, all from the comfort of your own home. This means that when our factory is back up and running we can start to manufacture your order and arrange your installation date.
How it works…
1. The drawings
It’s very similar to our normal design service. The first step is for you to draw out your room plan. For this we’ll need you to include all the measurements needed. Don’t worry! We know we’re not all artists and it’s the basic layout that we need – if you miss anything we can get these details in our initial phone consultation.
Here is a list of things we’ll need:
- Ceiling height
- Measurements for all walls
- Position and dimensions of doors (Please indicate which way they open)
- Position and dimensions of windows (Please include the sill height)
- Position and dimensions of radiators
When you have created your masterpiece you can take a photo of it, and upload it using the form below. Alternatively, you can email your plan to enquiries@fkandb.co.uk but please also fill out the form below so we know which member of the team to assign your project to!
Please be assured that when the restrictions are lifted we will double check all your plans and measurements.
2. The design
Your designer will work with you to plan and create your dream kitchen, bedroom or study. We’ll provide 3D plans of your room so you can see exactly how it will look. We’ll communicate by email and phone so everything can happen from the comfort and safety of your own home.
3. Pricing
When your design has been approved we’ll discuss all the options and provide you with a full estimate. Should you need to make adjustments, we can suggest alternative materials and finishes, to work to your budget and preferences.
4. Placing an order
When the restrictions are lifted, you can call into your nearest showroom, and meet your designer in person. They will run through everything to check you are happy your chosen design and specification.
Let’s make it happen!
